BMW 6-series Shows off Xpel Stealth Clear Bra Wrap in Atlanta

 

Here’s a fine example of what a Xpel Stealth clear bra wrap can do to refresh the look of a car. The owner visited us to see about having some intensive swirl marks and scratches fixed, but when she saw another vehicle waiting for pickup that we wrapped with Xpel Stealth, she said she wanted that look instead! Because of the defect masking ability of clear bra, the choice for her was simple. A full body clear bra wrap would address the visual cosmetic defects, create a satin look to her paint that would give it the BMW frozen finish paint look and give the pinnacle of paint protection to the whole car.

The finish Xpel Stealth gives is not a matte look that is so common with cheap vinyl wraps or spray-on rubberized coatings. Where a matte look tends to look more like a primered car that someone forgot to paint, satin clear bra gives a gorgeous sheen and luster that has a tasteful factory-optioned look.

For those that are trying to choose between a vinyl wrap and a satin clear bra wrap, some of the differences in a vinyl wrap and a satin clear bra wrap are:
Vinyl wrapping film is half or less the thickness of Xpel’s Stealth film.
Vinyl is not designed to be impact resistant to rock impacts like clear bra film is.
The nature of clear bra limits the level of stretching that is possible. Whereas vinyl can be manipulated and almost abused before tearing or having stretch marks.
The clear nature of clear bra requires more attention, time and cost than a vinyl wrap.

None of this is to say that vinyl is bad and a full body satin clear bra wrap is better. There are pros and cons to each but it tends to come down to this for most people. If  protection is your primary concern along with a modified look, a satin clear bra wrap is a great choice. If a modified look and potentially lower price for the same coverage is the primary concern, a vinyl wrap may likely be your best fit.
